My methods of teaching reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary are my own invention, developed through years of observation and experience to fill in the gaps created by test-driven curriculum and conventional worksheets.
I'm also an expert in ISEE, SSAT, SAT and ACT as well as college and private school admissions.

ABOUT ME
Houston native, born and raised! I have a degree in English Literature with a minor in World Cultures and Literatures from the University of Houston. I went from a high school graduate at the bottom of the third quarter to a Magna Cum Laude university graduate, simply because I applied myself to the task and taught myself study skills I'd never had in high school. I pass on those same skills to my students and continue to apply them in my own work as a teacher: I read what my tutoring students have to read, and write my own version of every writing assignment I give.
